Why should I become a subscriber?

  • Your subscription assures that Danville Ambulance Service will have the staff, vehicles and equipment required to provide around-the-clock protection for you and your family in the event of an emergency.  In addition, your subscription can save you hundreds of dollars!

Do I need a subscription if I have health insurance?

  • Yes. Most insurance companies do not pay 100% of the total ambulance charges. Your subscription covers co-payments and 50% of your deductible.

How is Danville Ambulance Service reimbursed if I am transported to the hospital?

  • In the event that you need ambulance service, Danville Ambulance Service will submit a bill to your insurance company. Insurance payments are then applied to your balance. Once benefits of insured subscribers are exhausted we write off any remaining balance. Subscribers do not have to pay any out-of-pocket expenses.

What should I do if my insurance company sends me a check for payment of services provided by Danville Ambulance Service?

  • All recipients of service are required to immediately forward any and all reimbursement received to Danville Ambulance Service. Failure to do so will result in the immediate termination of any subscription agreement and you will be held responsible for payment of all outstanding balances.
